Mass gathering of fans outside of Trafalgar Square, for or again it?

The truly big clubs don't do Trafalgar Square.

Thats because the truly big clubs get to Wembley most years, its not a novelty, its not a weekend away and its just another game. But that has absolutely zero baring on the game, the likes of Chelsea/Man United/City usually beat the likes of Newcastle/Sunderland and Boro because they have better players. Thats the top and bottom of it.

I agree with the above. Why would fans from London clubs gather at Trafalgar Square? They can get up and go to the game like they would for any home or London based game.

The big North West clubs don't do it either but I'm sure the novelty wears off when you are there every year.

I can see the argument people are making, don't peak too early but it actually has no bearing on the outcome of the game. Its not like the players were in trafalgar Square 😂

The Bolton fans took over Cardiff ? Yeh right
We were talking about this it at the match last night, I don’t think a mass gathering at Trafalgar Square the night before a final helps.

When we played Bolton in Cardiff it was all about the match and not the occasion. We secured our final spot by beating Arsenal after Bolton secured a final slot. The Bolton fans took over Cardiff and it was all about the occasion, Fat Sam booked the winners party before the medals were given out.

Against Sevilla, the Spanish fans were in the ground before kick off absolutely up for, not drunk as skunks unable to stand up after two days drinking. The Sevilla fans made the match their final.

We copied this approach against Brighton and it was by far the best atmosphere ever at the Riverside and it got us over the line in a tight game.

Wilder went on record saying we don’t need to be swapping Ronaldo shirts and going for a tourists day out. As fans we need this attitude.

We have lost every final we have played at Wembley. Why not party on Teesside if we win something.

Scotland and Sunderland have taken over Trafalgar Square and also have failed to win a game at Wembley when this has happened.

I just think it makes us look small tim

Why is it always Trafalgar Square anyway? Why not Scotland Yard, Downing Street or Buckingham Palace? Why not aim higher?

All those finals mentioned that we lost we were beaten by a better team. Norwich was fairly even and the team arriving late probably cost us there but Chelsea (on every occasion) and Sevilla were just better than us. Fans enjoying themselves won't have made a scrap of difference.

I passed through Trafalgar Square for an hour. Was that enough to cause us to lose the playoffs? Sorry everyone.

I'm not taking the risk this year so I'm just going to stay at home and watch us get promoted on TV.

I hope the demonisation of the trafalgar revellers is reversed when they all stay home for the good of the team.
