Maskless Tory MP gets Covid

Just saying it's been done to death doesn't somehow magically entitle you to imply (as you seemed to) that there might be valid reasons for Tory MP's not to wear masks when in truth there almost certainly isn't any valid reason for any of them.
unless ignorance and political posturing is a valid reason

I wasn't implying anything I was looking further than just the scrotes who enter the houses of parliament.

It's all distraction from the budget shenanigans anyways.

I think Randy's point is, call out the hypocrisy by all means, but don't celebrate the result. There are some posters who appear gleeful, without actually saying that.

Randy is not distracting nor deflecting, as he has been accused of, he is simply applying some moral fiber to the conversation.

Apologies @Randy if that is not the case.
Spot on.

But Randy is the big bad wolf because of my previous opinions on how the pandemic has been handled, rightly or wrongly, so anything I say on the subject is either twisted, misread or misinterpreted. Hell I even had a poster laughing at me the other day after I deleted a post to open a discussion about a potential fall in cases for various reasons yet when others post the exact same discussion nothing is said.

The government (and the rich) have always dictated and not actually followed the rules themselves throughout this pandemic. Why does the lack of masks in the houses of parliament suprise people and get people angry now? Where have you all been these past 18 months?

Kier Starmer has also tested positive for Covid this morning and will be missing from HoP today for PMQ’s and the budget

As I said that discussion has been done to death already.

My point still stands, I'm not comfortable with people been mocked for catching covid regardless of what colour tie they wear.

Were these same people mocking gay men for catching AIDS because they didn't wear a condom back in 80's?
Absolutely false equivalence and what's more completely missing the point of the post.

Is this how it's going to be from now on?

Anyone who doesn't wear a mask who gets covid is mocked?
there are a few threads on here and in the past that take glee at the misfortune of MPs on the other side of their own political persuasion.
I note there are many other MPs from the other side not wearing masks in the HoP but don't expect the same number of posts when of them get it.

Are you really struggling to understand why this is being pointed out?

It was that lovely man-of-the-people visionary Jacob Rees-Mogg that said only a few days ago that they (Tory MPs) "have a more convivial, fraternal spirit and therefore are following the guidance of Her Majesty's government". A touch of schadenfreude is good for the soul don't you think?

I'm impressed by your level of knowledge of JRM's utterings. Almost like you go looking for such things
