The waiting is in tents !
It is the combination of wages, agent fees and amortisation of transfer fees.Financial lunacy is transfer fees, not wages.
Not if you're spending 35 million on strikers. It is the combination of wages, agent fees and amortisation of transfer fees.
For most clubs the wage bill dwarfs the amortisation charge every season.

It's not the promise to the fans that is the problem, it's the promise to Wilder. He's on record as saying he prefers total control. If you are going to give that up and let someone else run it then you have to trust them to deliver. If we don't get the players he needs then he won't be happy. If we get another Burnley situation then why wouldn't he leave us?Big 28 hours ahead for the club to deliver on their promise to the fans. Where are these big horses to win the Big races players at
The bottom half is just based on experience, as stated on other threads we have been unfortunate in alot of games.Im probably in the minority here, but I would he concentrates on the team of players he has now & not bring anyone else in
Strikers, surely we have enough to score goals, i just feel Wilder, or the media, are pulling names out of a hat & hope they'll be the answer, the keepers are stronger than last season, but for some reason & with potentially 2 very good defensive CH's brougbt in, we look so weak & vunerable
Jones is not upto speed, his defensive side is good, attitude excellent, but he's struggling with his forward play, understandable considering his age & the level he's performing at, Giles is our new Jones at the moment, if, we have a fully functioning Jones we'll be a major threat
CW came in & picked up the club with some excellent displays, but even then we got batteted a number of games & now one win in the last how many games since Chelsra cup exit
When he replaced NW, who for me & im a big fan of his, wasnt working & said back then, I hope CW is here a long, long time meaning he's doing the business on the pitch
September is a big month for Wilder, we should know by the end of the month what the future holds & what direction we're heading in
It just seems we're in a similar situation to Bruce Riochs final season, bringing players in, one of the bookies favourites to go straight back up but fought a relegation battle all season
According to journalist Mark Hendry, both the Hoops – and Old Firm rivals Rangers – could well be in with a chance of landing the 28-year-old, with the transfer insider writing on Twitter: “Understand Barkley knows he won’t earn the same wage he‘s been on at Chelsea wherever he goes. Ultimately he’s earning nothing until he joins a new club so it’s actually potentially a doable deal for either Glasgow club. It’s down to Ross Wilson and whether he fancies pursuing.”lol Ross Barkley. 0 chance ill repeat this for ya.

Yes it does. Take a look at Club accounts - any club. Do you understand amortisation? Not if you're spending 35 million on strikers.
I’m going to throw a free agent in the mix. Fabian Delph. Surely could do a job at this level. I know he has had injury issues in the past but with a punt?Last season we were short of midfielders.. nothing has changed this season.. I like Mowatt, though need at least 2 more of quality.
You've missed out a key word.He said “There will be some big names that will come and people will go, ‘wow, that’s a really good signing”, regardless of your pontifercating on the exact wording - he meant exactly the same sentiment and you know this.
I’ve no doubt Wilder will leave if a better offer comes in from a prem team - it looks like we have not delivered the players he was promisedIt's not the promise to the fans that is the problem, it's the promise to Wilder. He’s now fully aware of the problems we have behind the scenes that other managers have alluded to. They don’t sign players you want yet manage to get “players over the line” that the recruitment want. Happened with AK, TP, JW and NW. We’ve lost millions on these players too, like Hoppe will be the latest one. They say they don’t want a rebuild each summer - then loan half the starting XI. They say they want to work within FFP - then sign players not for the first team with what money they have. Few ostriches on here pretend they’re happy with it, they’re not, they just want to comfort themselves in some bizarre superiority of having dry bedsheets. Many people think like me, they care, they pay the top end premier league season card prices to watch Neil Bausors cobbled together with no thought but high expense flops. They still manage to attract decent managers in the belief they will just conjure results to keep us where they want us. We are a terrible club to deal with, many ex players and managers have mentioned the bad treatment. Our fans are treat with complete disregard - you pay your money and shut up. We still go and hope as that’s just what Boro fans do, we don’t all have to be blind and accept the cancerous way the club is badly ran.I’ve no doubt Wilder will leave if a better offer comes in from a prem team - it looks like we have not delivered the players he was promised
Sadly, very sadly, there is some uncomfortable truth within your rant. He’s now fully aware of the problems we have behind the scenes that other managers have alluded to. He fits the bill Jedi & explains why CW sounded off after the Preston battering about big signings
