Brentford, 23 Yr old, Finnish international. On loan at Hull last season, 1 in 11 and apparently wasn't very good......

Never heard of him, so ........

🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

He didn’t play at Hull, was scarcely used as a sub. Very good finisher apparently better than Toney according to Brentford fans but doesn’t have much else to his game, can’t play upfront on his own and has to have a strike partner.

Read a few comments from Hull fans and they didn't rate him......but in a struggling side, can't be easy.

We will create chances this season, so if he's a good finisher, could be a decent option - I hope one of 3 forwards brought in.

I like what I've seen, but I've only seen snippets over the last couple of years, agree about him being a strong finisher. He's not the finished article, but he has great potential to be an exceptional player at this level.

Would work with someone like Muniz potentially. Could do with work on his all round game but if we are signing a ‘finisher type’ then this lad has the potential to be a good signing. Would prefer to take half a chance on him like go for a gas been like Rhodes which I’ve seen people want us to do.

Would still need another 2 obviously. Maybe someone who can in behind and a hold up type

bernie slaven would be worth 40 million these days. Best all round striker weve ever had. Left foot, right foot, head, volley, bend em in and most importantly tap in😉

This guy sounds a bit like sporar. Hopefully has a bit more to his game.
Also a decent footballer though, he could pass the ball well enough.

My feeling is that the two main strikers were looking to bring in are unlikely to happen until the end of the window, hence the third needs to be available for the games inbetween.

At least that's what I'm hoping because he's not what I'd expected as a format choice forward this season.

I do think the fact we're going to play with 2 up front should give us more options in terms of striker targets. Most teams are looking for strikers who can play up front on their own. Not essential for us and it might be we can unlock the potential of someone like this guy who is possibly overlooked by most, because of our style.

(Obviously we're Boro and this is strikers we're talking about, so won't happen. But I think the theory is sound).
