Oxford are targeting a permanent move for him. I would like to see what Warnock/new manager makes of him in pre season first before just selling him. I’m sure he will take a look at him first

I agree with you although I know others have made their minds up and want shot. I am with you on this.

It the conclusion is to sell him fair enough but I think he could be a decent enough squad player for us. Just needs to be better with his in game temperament.

Yeah, bring him back, let the new manager take a look at him. It sounds like he has done well on loan, so perhaps he could be useful to our paper thin squad next season.

More than anything else, I think the guy needed to get his head right. I don't mean in terms of focus on the game, more in terms of temper control. He looked a good candidate for a Nick Powell style sending off in a few games and, if I remember rightly, got subbed in one match before he was taken off.

He's got some ability; I hope playing regularly has helped get rid of some of the frustration.

Browne has no chance of showing the type of player he could be under Woodgate. Definitely worth Warnock getting him back and having a good look at him before we shop him off permanently.

Think he deserves another chance here. Play him through the middle, either as a box-to-box midfielder or a no10 and let's see what he can do.

Hopefully he does well & NW wants him in his plans

He only cost 300k. He's still young enough to have a Boro career. I would have him back and in and around pre season.

The transfer window is open until October. I doubt Oxford will pay much more than we paid. It's not like we are blessed with quick and direct players.

I would hate to sell him for 300-500k and see him go on and have a great career. We can keep him until October and move him on if he's not impressed.

I don't think anyone has seen enough of him to make a judgment (party his own fault at Swansea).

Think he has still got 3 years left on his contract and probably not on big money maybe 8-10k week, doubt Oxford can afford his wages never mind a 300k transfer fee. Think he is worth persevering with and loan him out again if he can not break into first team.
