Registerred No529 Mike Angus made his Boro debut away to Bristol City on the 22nd April 1980,wearing the No6 shirt deputising for Tony McAndrew, unfortuantly we lost the game 3-1 with Dave Armstrong scoring our consolation goal, he only played the one game that season

Between 1980 - 82 Mike Angus went on to play 43 games, scoring one goal, coming in that famous 5-0 win at Swansea

MA wore numbered shirts 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11 & 12, considering his debut was replacing Mr Versatility player Tony McAndrew MA followed suit

Do you know if he retired early through injury, Erimus? Looking at his career stats he had a short career, played only 75 matches in total (for 3 clubs).
