The best team in England should be beating a team in the Championship convincingly.
 
In an EPL game you approach differently to a one off cup game, we tried to play football against Brighton in the Cup, in the league we would tighten up as always wary of goal difference etc….Anyone expecting to see the kind of football we are producing now in the Premier League from day one against the better sides is in for a shock, will be much more like our Cup games last season.
 
Peacock Farrell looked hopeless and certainly can’t play out from the back like Muric can, was he injured or something?

Yeah, but this was full strength team v full strength team, with the Championship team in great form and the PL team not really firing on all cylinders.

3-0 would be convincingly, 6-0 was a proper spanking and highlights the gulf between the top teams in the PL and the rest.

We beat a full strength Spurs last year, who finished 4th. Wasn't a fluke either. We also beat Man Utd.
Sheaf Utd just beat a full strength Spurs too, who are again 4th. Blackburn beat Leicester away in the last round.
There’s a gap between the top division and the second division, there always has been, but it’s no bigger now than it’s ever been.
Man City are probably the best team in the world and can hammer anyone, they just destroyed one of the top teams in the Bundesliga.
