Man City in midtable and already off the pace

The table is obviously lying. Three BIG CLUBS in midtable. Hopefully no marks like Everton, Villa and Leicester will soon step aside so we can see a proper battle for the 4th champions League space. They're essentially being cheated by not being allowed to bring on that 40 million Spanish international as a fifth substitute. Football is the loser.
What you on about a no marks, unless your joking mind
The so called smaller clubs are what football is all about, not millions to buy who you want & then failing to achieve something because you're not as good as manager as you think

How is football the loser?

You probably said Liverpool shipping in 7 & Man Utd conceding 6 is bad for football, more smaller clubs in the top 6 of the greed is good PL the better, I love seeing those clubs in their present position & long may it continue

he's obviously joking.

Lowest form of wit etc (not sure what that says about me mind as I bloody love sarcasm).

Limited-good grief have heard it all now
To be fair there is an argument to be had there. Barcelona he had Messi, Xavi and Iniesta and they still went and spent money. Bayern Munich the team picked itself and they were already successful, still never managed a champions league final victory with them. Man City, well look at how much he's spent on defenders alone.
Now that's not to take away his obvious coaching credentials but he's not the best ever.

Don't disagree with that but limited was way off the mark for me

That's your opinion, he's spent millions at the best clubs to win what he has
Perhaps dogshyte is a better term. First job - did well, but inherited Messi et al, then ran away. Second job, Bayern; took reigning European champions and perennial league winners to European also-rans. City; PL; good record with limitless budget. Huge European underachievers.

Clough & Ferguson were the big game managers for me, both built teams, then rebuilt teams

Precisely. Guardiola is like one of those billionaire's kids whose dad buys him a drive in formula one. Only competitive if you give him a much better car than anyone else.

Well he has to show what he can do now. Aguero looking like he is injury prone and limited. A midfield badly missing a David Silva, Sterling not been firing on many cylinders. The fans seemingly absolutely hating Ryan Mahrez judging by their messageboard. If he can’t get them into a Champions League Pace at the very least by Christmas then he’s gone.

There is absolutely no chance he'll be gone by Xmas.

He's just signed a 2 year contract extension.

There's no one out there who they would get to replace him, who is better than him.

You don't win the treble, win the title with 100 points and break god knows how many records in only 4 years in charge, if you're 'limited' or a 'fraud'.

There's some clueless folk on here at times.

Haters will just continue to hate.

Yes I agree with you that there is no one out there, I wouldn't call him a fraud as you make out, dont know if thats at me or what, but one of the best, nop, he buillt a team up as he has at others clubs by spending millions
I think, just me, that as teams are also spending big he doesnt come across as something special

Why do people have to be haters because they have a different opinion to you, grew up & accept people will differ to your opionion,

I don't have a problem with anyone who has different opinions.

That's what's great about football. Everyone has different opinions which is why forums are popular.

I just don't understand anyone who would call someone 'limited' or a 'fraud' when they've broken a vast number of records in only 4 years in charge at Man City.....that's not including the amount of other trophies/games won at other clubs in their managerial career.

So again why state, haters will always hate, what's all that about then, I've been posting on here for over 15 years & you will not see one post when I have used the word hate

I quite like Pep, an honest bloke who always comes across well & polite, who spent big & broke the monopoly of the other big teams, but as I have stated when playing on equal terms he's limited, you need something special what that happens, as Cloughy & Ferguson proved time & time again

Who said 'haters will continue to hate' was directed at you?

And you're comparing him to Cloughy and Ferguson who have had their careers. Maybe compare Pep to those two once his managerial career has finished?

My bet is, when Pep retires as a manager, he will have won more trophies and silverware than Fergie & Cloughy combined.

Whether trophies are used as a direct measure to compare the 3 is another debate.

Personally, I can't see how anyone with his CV can be called 'limited'.

The same as what happened to him before. Teams have figured out his style of play. Pep doesn't have a plan B.
They are also missing Augero badly. Jesus just doesn't cut the same mustard.

He doesn't do well with crosses.

If Mourinho wins the title with Spurs he is some manager. Love Jose

I came on here to mention Mourinho, he used to have a similar pattern of great success for 2-3 seasons, then his players burnt out and the result's collapsed.

It really does show how much of a remarkable job Fergie did at OT for so many years.
