Major Google outage takes down Gmail, Drive, YouTube and more

This may well explain why today I've been getting annoying pop-ups asking me to sign in to gmail every time outlook does a send/receive. when I put my gmail address in it said it couldn't find it. I've just disabled that profile from outlook for the time being which has stopped the pop-ups

Microsoft have confirmed Outlook has issues at the moment too

I had a brief problem for about 15 minutes where google developer was down. I could always access my google drive though.
 
Yeah that's probably explains why I couldn't get in my emails. YouTube went off when I tried to watch something but now it's fine. Weird eh
