Private Eye have been detailing Sheleg's involvement with the Tories for 4 years - ever since he was appointed by Johnson as party treasurer.

Scandalous yes. Chances are, nothing will be done about it, and it’ll fade from public view like the Russia Report and various other donor scandals. I suspect Richard Cook has been forgotten.

I have read this too. It stinks, I don't know how it's not illegal.

You'd think any decent TV reporter would be all over this, or don't they exist any longer?

I know they've disappeared from BBC radio. I heard that chunt who hosts PM giggling away again yesterday rather than holding the f@ckers to account over their daily shambles.

For the life of me, I don't understand why no reporter will insist on getting an answer to the question asked and, if it's not forthcoming, just terminate the interview explaining why.

Because of client journalism. The politicians just won't appear and the usual 'sources' will be unavailable.

The Prime Minister refused to appear on GMB for years, despite it being well watched by part of his target voters.

Then the hosts should explain that each time they refuse to come on and make assumptions why it might be the case.

Not much point them being there anyway, as they never answer the questions.
