I know I've done this with Hekla before and she has kept her lid on.
Eruption likely now on the Reykjanes peninsular. Earthquakes moving upwards with a low frequency signal.

Shouldn't affect flights though. Will likely be lava fountains.

There are several very dangerous volcanos around Naples. If any one of them erupted it would be catastrophic.

They're on the ball in Iceland when it comes to volcano watching. As soon the scientists had predicted the most likely spot for the expected eruption, someone was up on top of the nearest mountain installing a webcam.
