A 200 m track that even the top British riders have never rode on before.

And team gb 🇬🇧 massively disadvantaged as they have all been split for the last few weeks for the commonwealth games ( 1 Scot 2 Welsh and an English lass).

Same will be true in rome for team gb swimming relay and Also the athletics.

But how can you hold the championships in basically an illegal track. As surely in this sport it’s about rhythm and momentum.

Some nasty crashes already

Btw it’s normally a 250 m track.

No it’s the length as Chris boardman says it’s difficult to ride the geometry of a track like that. Chris hoy said the same as it’s throws all your plans as less space to come back

2 separate events. European champs in athletics, cycling, triathlon, artistic gymnastics, beach volleyball, canoe sprinting, sport climbing, table tennis and rowing take place in Munich. European Aquatics Championships in Rome at same time (swimming, diving etc).
