Mackems at Wembley while we carry out a thorough season review

We shouldn't give up hope though. Hopefully the combined 6-7 million from the Hackney and Latte Lath sales we spend on players can be spent wisely and we can budge up the table in time for Leeds and Sunderland coming back down.

I’ve said all along the Macems will spawn the play offs somehow .. we really have been an utter utter sh@t show this season .. sunlun have left us miles behind at the moment … I don’t see which ,if any ,of our players would make it into their team at the moment..

It has been a bad year but going on the last 20 seasons we've performed above Sunderland and Leeds.

Mean position from the past 20 years
Newcastle 12th in Prem
Boro 5th in Champ
Sunderland 6th in Champ
Leeds 10th in Champ

We are the 20th best performing team in the league over the past 20 years.
 
If Sunderland go up it will also mean we won't have any "big" games to look forward to. Sunderland and Leeds are the first fixtures I look for when the fixtures list is released.

Really hope Sheff Utd beat them but my gut is telling me more and more that Sunderland will fluke a result.
