Luke Shaw

What a performance yet again from him tonight.

I said after the Czech Republic game that I felt he would go on to become an important player for us as the tournament progressed.

I think Sterling coming inside allows Shaw a lot of space down that left side and he has made the most of that.

Great going forward. I’m worried about him and Walker in a back 4. Both lose the ball and make silly mistakes in bad areas.
His runs behind and crossing is sublime, though

he was MINT

they all were UNBELIEVABLE!!

MOTM today for me. Southgate has clearly had a word with Sterling to utilise his support down the left side more as Shaw was struggling to get into the last game until Grealish came on. Was very much thinking Chilwell should have been England's first choice, but Shaw is the best option there.

He’s an outstanding player and a top lad too. Remember he donated 15000 to the family of local lad Luke Jobson after his death.

Wand of a left foot and he’s went and proved Mourinho wrong big time. Buzzing for him after his injury problems

I remember that, some gesture from him. He's massively proved my football opinion of him wrong he's been different class.

I have seen that occasionly from Walker, I disagree that we've seen Shaw lose the ball or make mistakes. I don't think I've seen a better left back in the tournament.

I felt he struggled a bit in the first half against the Czechs but he's definitely grown in to it as the tournament progressed.

this, gives away possession too often, weak in tackle, too much backward, sideward, not positive enough
but he does pop up in the right place right time now and again

Though statistics can be misleading having an almost 90 percent pass rate suggests he hasn't given away possession too often and a 100 percent Tackling success rate doesn't sound like a player weak in the tackle.

He’s absolutely quality. When he’s fit and on form in my opinion there is no one better in the prem in his position and I include Robertson in that. He is hitting his peak level now

Absolutely. He had a brilliant season with Manchester United and was probably their best player.
