Moore has scored about five in two years i believe and appears to be injury prone - guess he’d fit in perfectly 😳😵‍💫

Moore has a Nugent kind of flavour about him. Wouldn't be unhappy but not sure he has the Carrick vibe. Ayling, dunno. We need some sort of proper warrior-type leader at the back - a Lockyear type - but a loan player?

I thought we were probably avoiding loans after last season.

Wouldn't be too opposed to Luke Ayling really, given our right back situation. But I'm not sure Kieffer Moore really suits how we play or has a recent goalscoring record that's necessarily any better than what we have.

2021-22 9 in 29 - including promotion
2022-23 4 in 27 - in the premier league
2923-24 1 in 7 - in the premier league

would be more than happy with him on loan to job share with Josh Coburn

As for Ayling..

I’d avoid Moore like the plague - wouldn't mind Ayling though, he’s a good player at this level and way better than any of the full backs we have available to us now

Who are the long term permanent signings?

RB Sam Curtis 18yo - Sheffield United apparently leading the chase. No idea why.. they would be the worst club to join for a young promising player.

CB Charlie Cresswell 21yo - Leeds don’t seem to fancy him.. we’ve been linked with him for time. They are after another 21yo defender Nathanial Adjei.. we were linked with him too. Strange.

CF Jay Stansfield 21yo - still on loan at Birmingham from Fulham.. looks the part to me.. but would he hinder Josh Coburn’s development? No other young strikers look to be on the horizon.. Brandon Vazquez was mentioned..

Just looking at names we’ve been linked with and the ones that look most likely atm
Gotcha.

Ayling would be a yes for me. Especially if it is just a loan until the end of the season.
Moore…..not so sure about that one, but no doubt we need more attacking options.
