Lukas Engel

I think he did alright, but not exceptional to be honest, but appreciate he had to switch position with Bangura going off. I thought Mandueke looked like one of their best players (but couldn't hit a barn door, like most of their team) and he was up against Engel most of the game.

Not that I'm saying or have said that Engel is terrible mind, I just don't think he's good enough or will be good enough for where we want to be, but a lot of the side aren't. I think Bangura is marginally better now (left back/ LWB at least), but will end up a lot better.

I thought Glover was our MOM, spilled one which should have cost us but his positioning for their chances was great, and he had everything covered, and was mostly great on crosses, takes some doing against ~20 attempts, 2.5xG and 70% possession.

Their £1bn expenditure over the last 2 years doesn't seem to have been great value.

Great warrior like performance.

Does need to be a little more measured when deciding when to commit to pressing and when to stand off. Did commit at least twice when he was never going to get there and that could of been punished on another day, and then the messages on here would have been a whole lot different.

Yeah, that scares the life out of me, can see it coming from a mile off, but it's hard to do against a prem side when you're not used to it, as they're just so much quicker, and the passes are less "in reach".

In my opinion he's been very good from literally the next game after his sheff wed horror show.

Looks like a great bit of scouting so far. Theres something a bit "george friend" in the way he plays.

An absolute warrior. To come back from the horror show at Sheff Wed and perform like he has shows real steel. Another great find from the recruitment team.
