Loud “boom”

Did anybody else just hear what sounded like an explosion? I’m in grove hill and it was seriously loud

Used to the military aircraft, Honeybadgers etc, but this was different to the usual stuff, much louder it seemed.

If you heard a loud jet over Teesside a short time ago, it was an RAF Typhoon which came back with a Draken Falcon.
It was initially on Mode A then appeared on radar over North Yorkshire.

When you say , came back with, are we talking about the air forces version of 'copping off with ' , 'pulled' , 'scored' . As I just have a pic in my mind of groundstaff going 'ffs , get a hangar you two ' after landing.
