Lots of train journeys being cancelled due to the storm

Gave up after 4 hours to York. Train to Huddersfield from there is terminating at Leeds. Our train back was a bus to Northallerton so that was a no for a start. We could have got later one but I expect the 50 or so halfwits chanting and scaring the other passengers would have been on it too. Plus more.
Back to Redcar to watch in pub. Trip was doomed since we booked WBA tickets instead of Huddersfield by mistake.
