Lots of train journeys being cancelled due to the storm

My Thornaby train is running, I can't see my train from Darlo on the 'live' info yet (the 11:16), but the earlier ones all seem to be cancelled.
 
Power cut early doors this morning and another one now. The entire village too. Will make work interesting this morning. No electric means no gas.

Why cancel trains from Darlo yet others aren't. Doesn't make sense to me. Will now watch the match in The Cleveland Bay in the warmth. My son has been advised not to travel as no guarantees they will get home.

Still at work but we are closed till lunchtime so far. Power grid have said it could be 9:15pm tonight by the time the power is back on. We've got a gas safe system at work which runs on electricity so we've got no gas.
