Arrived in Helsinki but my luggage, including work tools hasn’t…
Not really fussed about work stuff but I left my EU-UK adapter in there so now got no way of charging laptop or phones..
Hotel tried with an adapter that has a dodgy connection…
It really hits home how reliant we make our selves on technology..

How are you posting this then?

in all seriousness when I'm travelling I always rock an Anker powerbank

You're right we rely a lot on technology so I always have somewhere to charge my phone and tablet.

Make sure you are claiming on stuff you are buying daily, you get a daily allowance for being without it but airlines are quite shaky about not telling you this directly. If truly lost, insurance usually easier to deal with but it's 21 days til it's counted as lost

I posted on my iPad that I was managing to get some charge in…

im here to do some work so the stress was that I was running out of charge… couldn’t really care that I wouldn’t have been able to do the jo….

KLM have a great setup for reporting the lost baggage and I got notified straight away it was reported… the tracking however was lacking…

I got another adapter off reception and took a team call to explain to work, just as luggage turned up lol… I didn’t get notification until 8 hours later 🤦🏼‍♂️

felt like lots of dram and suppressed stress as time seemed to stretch but battery power didn’t…

anyway, job done and no expenditure occured… but it does highlight the importance of technology…

the battery power bank is another thing, I do have one, jus it’s no good in the drawer in my bedroom lol
