Los Blancos v Bayern

Bayern are being as wasteful as Boro. They’ve had so many touches in the box and looked really threatening but poor passing or wrong options has cost them.

Just glad that all those wasted chances were in Madrid, hopefully that's the difference maker this time.

It's at the Allianz this time.

Lesser of two evils I guess. It’s not like Bayern aren’t a fairly dislikeable massive club too.
As the mega clubs go, they feel like probably the least objectionable to me. Not owned by some petrostate, mugged off the Superleague. Feels like the 'worst' they do is is their former players/board members piping up to be weirdly aggro about stuff like the fee Newcastle paid for Woltemade.

Like a lot of the German clubs I like them, an even more so since Kane joined. That despite their FC Hollywood imagine in Germany.

I used to want to see Arsenal win things as I think they're a decent club and it's makes a change from the usual lot winning everything....but my goodness, Arteta is such a c*ck.

Not to mention how dull his football is.

It maybe effective, but it's mind numbingly boring.

If he doesn't win anything, then I don't know how Arsenal fans can put up with it. He plays the worst brand of football going.

It's like watching Tony Pulis on heroine.

Vini Junior.

He's a real pantomime villain in Spain, guessing it extends to Real Madrid fans too now they're not doing well.
After the first 10 mins when I couldn't believe my eyes, so after that I was keeping an eye on him. Never seen such a lazy forward/ winger out of possession, or a player solely focused on themselves rather than the team.

It was that bad I was kind of thinking it was a tactic, letting him conserve his energy for when they got the ball. He was literally watching players walk passed him about a yard way, felt sorry for the Real Madrid midfield. Mbappe wasn't much better either in the first half, but second half was a lot better.

Thing is, it surely can't be a tactic with Vini, as he's just not good enough where you can give him a free pass out of possession. He would need to be posting Ronaldo and Messi numbers to get such a pass. Even Ronaldo got criticised for a poor work rate off the ball but he was nowhere near that bad, even at 40. At least with Mbappe they get a goal a game out of him.

Vini scores at a rate of 1 in 3, which for Real Madrid is shocking, especially at £500k per week. For Brazil his numbers are even worse. Him wanting the same dough as Mbappe is laughable.

They're surely going to try and off load him in the summer, but I can't see anyone respectable matching that 500k wage.

It's like they're in a catch 22 with him, they either have to give in to his silly demands, based on his inflated ego, or they just have to let him walk for nothing, it's like rinse and repeat but RM just won't let him go.
