Looks like the BBC have censored the new Attenborough series

Ridiculous decision.

The BBC is rapidly going down hill lately.
We have known for some time now that we are only drip fed information from the BBC and placing a Tory stooge in charge of it wasn't going to make things better.

It seems daft that they aren't going to show it on the BBC but it is available on Iplayer. I would be watching Wild Isles on Iplayer anyway and I am sure many others will do.

Jesus. Might as well be living in Russia.

Hopefully Attenborough kicks up a fuss about this but he is probably too establishment for that.

This country is in many way, sadly, a truth vacuum where lies, spin and propaganda are the order of the day.

Weren't those right-wing folk demanding freedom of speech? Only when they're wanting to hurl their neanderthal insults at non-Brits it seems.

A very sad and unfortunately a very dangerous time for democracy in the UK.

You need to use iplayer to get the UHD content anyway and these programmes are absolutely stunning in 4K. Having said that, it's an extremely worrying trend.

Edit:I don't pay for Sky or Virgin. I only have Freeview.

I work for one of the charities involved in the production of this series.

The Guardian’s spin on this is utter b***ks.

The “6th episode” was never part of the series Or intended for broadcast.

Sorry to **** on the parade of any rapid
Tory haters or defund the BBC types. Most of whom I’m already ignoring.

Agree, and I can’t believe people are going with this.

The BBC has helped (in no small part) make RA a national treasure for decades.

They have funded the vast majority of his shows including this one, about a controversial subject they’ve *voluntarily* made.

They’ve put it on their on demand service, where anyone can watch it at any time.

And he’s being “censored”?? I’ve heard it all now.
