Looks like Hugill has been made available from Norwich

I found him annoying, refs knew him so we got less free kicks due to him hitting floor regular. However last season I thought he might of been handy to have .
I think him the Bristol lad and watmore just might doma Job for us .

I think the wages / transfer fee will be too much for what we will get.
But I like him
I hope he does well somewhere.
And if Neil Warnock thinks he's worth bringing in I would certainly get right behind him.
If nothing else I would just be grateful he's not Rudy Gestede.

Come on, he was dreadful for us before. I don’t understand this obsession we have with ex players or local lads. If he wasn’t local we wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole.

I remember Wigan away, 0-0, when he was here. I groaned when he came on and first thing he did was chase a ball over the top towards the corner flag and he tried a back heel back to the supporting player but he only succeeded in back heeling into his other leg and it went out for a goal kick.

I think some people are just desperate to have anyone other than Akpom who must go down as one of the poorest forwards Boro have had.

One thing I will say is that he was so isolated under pulis. He would receive the ball on the halfway line and no player within 30 yards.

Some games he looked frankly unplayable. I think it was WBA away where he absolutely bullied them and all the WBA fans were raving about him saying its what they want.

I am not a fan of going back. I think fans forget the diving and more so missed chances. Then again he's done ok since so maybe it just was the wrong club at the wrong time. To say he's a 'Warnock player'. I imagine he's also a Pulis player.

I would have him over some mentioned. Yet I think fee and more so wages will be beyond us. Also he's had a few injuries over the last 2 seasons.

Hugill is now 28 - he's not going to get his previous contract where ever he goes - that said even at Β£25k-Β£30k/week he could be out of our range, but with Britt and Flatch going around Β£70k/week will be taken off the wages bill.

He will not be playing for Norwich in the Premier League so I would guess they will give him a free to get him off the wages bill.

He played 31 times for Norwich.

only started 7 games though, he was a super sub for when Pukki ran out of steam. Only 679 mins of league action, which is 7 1/2 matches...4 goals
