Looks like Hugill has been made available from Norwich

Not sure about that, I think they are fairly similar level, but I'd put Hugill slightly ahead due to his experience at this level, he has proven it a bit more.

Championship Hugill has a goal every 255mins, Ikeazu has one every 293mins. I'd say that Hugill. It's a couple of goals extra a season for Hugill.
Hugill may have a very slightly better scoring record so far in this league, but the rest of the contribution of Ikpeazu is much better than Hugill.
I'm not saying Uche is brilliant and certainly not that we don't need more strikers, but Hugill would cost a lot more, for in my opinion a lesser overall contribution and impact.

I'm not sure it is, Hugill is one of the best headers of a ball in the league. He's hard working, and has the ability to do it for 90 mins whereas Ikpeazu gasses after 65. I think Ikpeazu wage wise will be far better value, the question for me is does the 4x wages of Hugill give better value than Ikpeazu for minimal performance gain...the answer being a resounding no from me.

We do still need another striker though so spending time comparing Ikpeazu to Hugill is not really the point since we have already signed Ikpeazu. Hugill has to be a good option if Sporar falls through.

Agree to disagree, for me Hugill was a massive disappointment and I wasn't expecting much from him.
He appeared to be bossed every match, has the touch of an elephant and simply didn't win much in the air, score goals or link anything up.
I'd genuinely be gutted if he came back.

Norwich are going to lucky to get a fee for him in the current market - the player will want £30k/week for 2 year contract - a bit like Bolasie situation. I think we would be better with Bolasie.

They probably are not fuse, he was bought as a plan B in case Pukki got injured. He was a 5mill insurance policy, but they are now cashing it in

He's the new David Nugent. Just gets clubs promoted and then moved on or loaned out.

I felt sorry for Nugent when he went the way of many of the players who got us up. No wonder the dressing room was apparently spilt.

Wonder which club he’s on loan to at next season after getting promoted with West Brom
