It was good to see the more experienced guys looking after their team mates yesterday…

Tommy smith pulling Jones away from the touch line after celebrating his assist in crooksys goal, I think he did it after Jones’s goal too…

Crooks pulling coburn away from the argybargy just before half time…

The team spirit is well and truly back like last season….

In Carrick, we trust… UTB

Smith pulled Hackney away after the first goal as well.

Invaluable in a game like that, although I did think a few were very naive especially Jones, Hackney and Coburn, referee would have sent one of ours off first chance he got to even it up and they all gave him an opportunity to do so

I was gonna write something about this so glad that you mentioned it. If you think back to a few weeks ago, we were getting criticised for not being tough enough or nasty enough or having an edge to our game, but yesterday we looked completely different.

Something really got under the skin of our boys and it looked like it became a bit personal, which I liked.

From the tackles, to the goal celebrations, to the aggro, they were all in it together. Was great to see.

Just need to make sure they don’t do anything daft when things get feisty in the future, but it was definitely a nice development after the start of the season where we just looked so soft and got bullied all over the pitch.
