A bit old school but pillars of the earth box set is on ch 5 now. In fact ch 5 has lots of good stuff on their app.
more modern give the outsider a go and one not in the UK yet - EVIL shown on cbs in the states I’m hooked on this ( think xfiles style with demons/ghosts )

The Jack Ryan series on Amazon Prime are pretty good without being too over the top American BS.
The Bosch series is also brilliant, Titus Welliver is an amazing actor, and should definitely have played Jack Reacher instead of Tom Cruise in the Lee Child series..
