Agree Rogers is a 10 and not a striker

McGree started last week and was very average, didn't deserve to start today.

Agree Forss is better than Jones on the right

We are terrible all over the pitch, there no hiding it, I could see it in the pre season friendly we have nothing. Can't defend and now can't score. Spells disaster.
 
We should thank the Lord that Coventry had to do without their two best strikers from last season or that result could have been really embarrassing. At least they did have a couple of replacements.
Of course we had to do with... erm none (on the pitch at least).
 
Rogers linked up incredibly well with Jones and Silvera today. He was the biggest positive in the second half today. The three of them behind a proper striker would be very dangerous.

Barlaser doesn't fit what we need in midfield really. We need a lot more energy in midfield than he provides. We'd benefit from him having the freedom to roam a bit and pick up the ball in places to where he can swing a ball in or slide one through. That would require a real change of formation though. At the moment we don't use his strengths and expose his weaknesses.

Hackney is really missing the experience and energy of Howson.
 
I thought Rogers looked much better in the 2nd half when he seemed to drop into the no 10 role. Definitely think there is some potential there and would like to see how well he would link up with a proper striker.

Only saw the second half, he looked lightweight to me. Hopefully he'll get help from the new left back but that would mean a change in tactic.

If we're sticking to this formation I'd have McGree in for him.
