London stations

Announcing a midnight London lockdown at 4pm was always going to end in this happening.

People had no other choice as they have been told not to leave a Tier 4 area and judging by the reports a vast majority of those people had suitcases, so likely not going for one last bevvy up but travelling home for Xmas.

Government again dropping the ball

The blame firmly lies with number 10 on this one not the people.

lots have made Xmas plans and are trying to get to destinations before the deadline.
Many would do the same.

The government knew about this new strain and the impact of putting London into tier 2.
They did not listen to the scientists advice regarding the tier system, incompetence from top to bottom

So typical of Londoners to blame everyone but themselves. Pat on the back for these smug, self-important gits.

Waterloo is probably the most atmospheric main line station in London.
I can understand why Londoners would want to get out to the leafy countryside.....

Who would want to spend any time in it, let alone look to get out. The single most depressing city I've ever been to. Apart from some tarted up touristy or very posh bits, the rest is horribly bleak. Plus it has a high concentration of people who think they've made it in life because they pay 5 times more for a week's rent than others pay for a monthly mortgage

And, 3...2...1...go!

Just one question: have you been to Birmingham?

Can you give a list of examples of Londoners blaming everyone but themselves for things? It must be extensive for you to have that view.
Its the standard Teesside chip isn't it. We've seen it this week: London is in a lower tier than teesside "oh those bad Londoners " london is then put in a higher tier than teesside "oh those bad Londoners " .

It's funny

Reminds me of that part from Stuart Heritage's book.

And there it is!! Smalltown with his predictable chip on shoulder remark. I thought it would've taken a bit longer to be fair, he's on fire this weekend
