Lockdown my @rs3

Have you seen the list of key workers? It's huge.

Mind you I reckon a lot of people are testing it today. Once the police start stopping people and fining it'll change.

I'm am shocked and disgusted at the amount of people who have left their homes this morning. They are ignoring it as they know the police aren't able to enforce it. I bet I'll be able to count on one hand the number of fines that are given in the UK.

Many think they are 'key workers' when they are not. People who work on building sites, in car garages, car dealerships, mortgage companies are not key workers, yet the ones who live on my street think they are and have gone to work today. They've no doubt been given a letter by their companies so they can send their kids to school too.

My wife is a teacher and yesterday there were over 400 kids turned up. The school were expecting 54, as that's how many eligible children they had. Its a complete joke and people are taking p!ss!

thing is rico if you work in construction you havent been told not to go to work, its a bit stupid, were are being put into isolation socially but everyones going to work, it feels half arsed, the only reason i can think of is that the theory theyre working on is theres no point stopping the spread altogether just reduce it

Systems have got to be maintained or it can have a damaging effect to them, some are H&S compliance. A lot of people would rather be sat at home watching TV or doing the garden. I will watch some TV today while the wife does the garden.

The daughter was key and has now decided to take the grandson out of school and work from home, some kids at school doctors son has now contracted it.

Certainly garages are considered key and building sites not outlawed. Som even encouraged.
Garages for repairs but not sales over here. I had completed a purchase a day before lock down here. With the car already at the show room waiting for me. First day of lock down they would not let the garage register the sale. So they could not get the reg number and list my wife as the owner. I said to them they could not keep the car and our money. In case they went bust. So to help their cash flow they got special permission to register the car and give it to us. During the lock down. The alternative would have been to return the money to me. Which would have been bad for their business.
