That's absolutely brilliant. I've actually met Chris briefly as he was (and possibly still is) a very close friend of one of the best photographers Teesside has produced, Graham Smith, but I've have not seen this before. I remember going to the opening of one of Graham's exhibitions at Skinningrove. It's certainly a unique place.

I've seen it before.

I didn't know any of them, just some Skinny herberts who worked at ICI. I think they were a decade behind the rest of us :giggle:

They used to brag about going rabbiting/ferreting and poking pins in their quarry's eye cos they knew it wound us townies up. Their idea of going into a big city was rioting in Guisborough every weekend.

Have you seen this one?...

Oh hell yeah. Wasn't there a sign at the end of the jetty "If you're reading this, we've already nicked your car".

I was minded to do this because I was chatting with another great Teesside photographer, Ian Macdonald, a couple of days ago. A really nice fella ... and his pictures took me right back to my childhood.... Teesmouth, South Gare etc

I was on the same course as Ian at M'bro Art College - a proper gentleman in every sense. Graham was also on the course but ended up at the RCA.
