9am to 4pm – Globe Theatre salvage treasures

A exhibition display of items and material salvaged during the restoration and refurbishment of the Globe Theatre. Items on display include posters and programmes which will evoke memories of the Globe as a cinema and music venue at the heart of Stockton, showing blockbuster films and attracting star names from the world of showbusiness.

Location: Fountain Court Enterprise Arcade, High Street, Stockton on Tees

10am to 11am – Picture Stockton archive

Join Stockton Libraries in their weekly session in which they share photographs from the Picture Stockton collection and prompt memories of times past.

Teesside Archives take their weekly delve into their collections and consider what documents and artefacts from our past can reveal about people, events, and places.

2pm to 3pm – Two villages in North Stockton

Martin Peagam delves into the intriguing origins of two estates Roseworth and Hardwick – and finds that they were inspired by a vision of creating two villages similar to Hartburn and Norton.
