All of May is the Local and Community History month across the UK! It’s an opportunity for everyone to look around them and to explore their local history.
There were plans for a programme of talks, discussions and guided tours celebrating the local history of Middlesbrough and for the first time in Stockton on Tees.
I had pulled together a big programme for Middlesbrough - but with lockdown this had to be scrapped - but instead we have pulled together a replacement online month of talks, virtual walks, blogs and even a court-martial that I hope will keep you entertained. You can just sit back and observe or you can interact and get involved.
