Loads of positives tonight…

Sorry forgot about Hackney for Bola.But don’t think any of Fry,McGree,Ramsey,Forss,McNair will be playing in the play offs.
 
Because of Carricks comments about the injured players and the likelihood of getting them back.Fry and McGree haven’t been seen for weeks and the other 3 have injuries that are not short term at least 2/3 weeks.
Hope I‘m wrong but this could really derail our season.

Carrick said not all are expected to be fit, not that none of them will make it. Add Akpom and Hackney, plus any 2 of the 6 injured players to tonight’s line up and we muller Luton 9 times out of 10.
 
Out if the ones injured i think McGree is the only one with a chance for the playoffs - injuries have come at a really bad time all at once after having roughly the same side for months
 
Shows we have the breadth and depth of squad, more than capable of stepping up and slotting together. Last night`s performance was excellent. No one had a bad game. There is not one player in our squad not worthy of the shirt. (y)

Lenihan was fine as he always is and Howson stepped into the role superbly and was on the front foot all night nipping infront of the forwards to win the ball and was excellent in possession too.

But we lost , and both goals could have been prevented if a) both centre halves stayed central and close to their top scorer , b) man marked the main threat in the air with someone other than Bola who is not known for his airial ability.
Howson was superb at the football side .

Second goal was nothing to do with our defending , it was shambolic refereeing.

Howson and Lenihan has great games and you won’t convince me otherwise
