Liverpool

Would be unreal to see Ole win it for them ...

Would it?

You can question the pedrigree of the manager, but that squad cost an absolute fortune, they're one of the biggest clubs in the world, it's a club that this season has proven it doesn't give a **** about the integrity of English football.

20 league titles is enough for them, I think.

Apparently Pickford has been seeing a physcologist and it’s helping him not make as many mistakes and he’s in a better place. I still would go for Pope though. I think he’s a better keeper

Caught some of the second half, they looked awful, to be honest, and out of ideas. Half arsed.

Before Burnley won that penalty I expected them to get a goal eventually as Burnley tired .. but cracking result for them.

I didn't expect Liverpool to follow up this season with a second title after last season's brilliant showing .. a tough act to follow. I'd love to see Leicester win it this year. Can't believe Utd are where they are .. one minute it looked like Ole is having a nightmare, Pogba is on his way ... all seems rosy again and they're challenging for the title. Would be unreal to see Ole win it for them ... though I'd prefer Leicester as I said. I think City will pip it to be honest, though hopefully I'm wrong.

Footy is crackers in this Covid age. Unexpected results all over the place making it a little more entertaining though it would be far better to have the fans back again everywhere. Though I hope it sees the mighty Boro unexpectedly finish top six this season and do the unthinkable ..

Great result for Burnley though.
Agree with all apart from Man Utd winning the title, hopefully Leicester win it, if not then Man City

I don't really want Man Utd to win it, it's more I'd feel it's a good job Ole has done to prove his doubters wrong. But as said, I want Leicester to win it. Not particularly City, more of the same. First Leicester, if not then Utd .. it's out of the three surely.

As for the Championship .. even harder to predict. Hope we upset a lot of odds and achieve a miracle. Ha ha

That's an argument, I suppose. I just thought they were totally written off at one point a few months back, and kind of would like to see Ole prove folk wrong as not many expected he'd be able to lead them to a title or trophy, even with the coin they've spent.

As I said, I want Leicester to win the league. It's out of Utd, Leicester, and City. City are the last team I'd like to see win it, more of the same from the last few seasons.

City are likely to win it, but I'd rather they didn't. That's just my opinion, nothing special. Ha ha defiitely not a closet Utd fan .. can promise that.

He was wrote off, with many of the media saying he'll be the next one sacked & the next one to then get them top of the PL, good on him, he's doing a good job

Only heard in the last hour on Talkcrap that Pool had actually lost 1-0 at home - ending some kind of record?!
Im glad for the Burnley fans, and even more glad for the Mags - whose whingebag fans will have even more wind in their sails.
Expect more pressure on Steve Bruce - I suspect he will be gone by the end of the season.
Whilst the arze licking media suck up next the Red Devils sponge bucket for the title, I hope the club - whose name shall not be heard in high places - [the Foxes] claim the title.
It would restore my faith in humanity once more for Leicester to stick the V up at the smugg football establishment and the media cling-ons.

Dyche is some manager.

They were excellent last night and Liverpool had no answer.

Klopp will face extreme heat now, especially after benching Salah & Firmino.

That decision to play Jota in a dead rubber is looking more foolish by the game.

I'm all about the underdog. I want Leicester to keep going as long a as they can.

I just like watching them play with youth and energy. They have also 'done it the right way' as in not bought it but improving what they have. Also Rodgers is top class. If I was a UTD/Spuds or even Arsenal fan I'd think we'd missed a trick not getting him from Celtic.

For me Sean Dyche is as good a manager as there is in the PL

Rodgers Definetly my favourite premier league manager. Top class in everything he does. Love watching his teams play

Excellent result, I always knew they'd pull themselves away & out of the bottom 3

Cracking manager & club, to win at a ground who last tasted a defeat 4 years ago is one of the results of the season & now level with Newcastle 👍
Being level with Newcastle is hardly something to give credit for! Burnley have scored 10 goals all season, that is abysmal by any teams standards in any league. They'll stay up easily because the bottom 3 is so bad this year not because they are any good.

The point I'm making is that it looked as though the third bottom team would be between Fulham, Brighton & Burnley, now with the excellent win at Liverpool Burnley have dragged Newcastle in with them & a game in hand

No they'll stay up because they have a good manager who is very good in the PL & gets the best out of limited resources

Liverpool have lost the intensity of the last two seasons, they're a tired team and the speed and incisiveness is not there anymore, that said Origi should have scored and it makes it a different game, as well as Pope played I thought Allison made the better saves which shows the fragility in Liverpool's defence at the moment.

Sean Dyche is the most underrated manager in the Premiership, he laid the foundations for promotion at Watford and with Burnley has created the model of how a club of that size can maximise its potential, I think Burnley would miss him more than he them, he had a game plan last night that worked and its not the first time he's taken a team to the reigning Champions and come away victorious.

I know I've said it before but Liverpool's squad just isn't good enough in my opinion, once you get past their first 11 and around 4-5 backups you're looking at youth prospects (none of which look currently good enough to play at the highest level). Think they were lucky with injuries last couple of seasons, whereas the reverse has happened this time around.

Looked slow and lacking ideas last night - compare to Klopp's Dortmund team and they're light years behind.

Not sure why they haven't invested in this window (can't be skint?) but if I were Klopp I'd be looking to bring 2-3 before the window, more creativity in midfield being a priority.

Have you seen the clip of the squad?

Dyche deserves an enormous amount of praise in keeping that squad up each season.

They buy championship players and rarely spend a fortune, yet Dyche keeps them in the Premier League pretty much by ease every season.

The day he parts way with Burnley, is the day Burnley need to be very careful or they'll drop like a stone.
