Liverpool hitting self destruct

The only thing I find strange is people reverently calling Guardiola by his first name as if he's their best mate.
But that's a media thing as well.
It’s not really that strange. People can’t spell Gwardeola. Likewise quite a few on here can’t spell Warnock.

Personally I have no problem with Liverpool, I watch football primarily to enjoy the skills and tactics on show, and as far as that's concerned they're a great team to watch, as are ManC. However, when Liverpool are in the form they were for much of last season, they're irresistible.

There have been many theories, but I don't think anybody has been able to pinpoint exactly why they can't do the same this season.

I'm not saying you think that, I'm saying that you're acting like that.

Pog has clung to a strange, easily disproven and sad opinion for years, but it's only Pog.

Every time Man City win well, the same posts come out as if there's actually anyone else contradicting them.

The only thing I find strange is people reverently calling Guardiola by his first name as if he's their best mate.

I seen that about hating Pep & just left the thread, then seen it again, so just thought I'd ask the question

Still not been given a clear answer as to who said they hated Pep

I think it's just always going to be difficult to play at that pace and intensity season after season with the same core of players. Klopp's football is great to watch but he did have periods at Dortmund where they dropped of form for periods

One things for sure Bettinelli wouldn't have made those two Allison errors. It would be 60-80 yrds up field by then😉

Jokes aside. Allison wasn't helped by the woeful defending as they had 3-4 chances to clear it 'Pulis style' and kept giving it back to him.

Hate is the wrong word to be fair.

But how anyone can doubt what Pep does and brings to football really shouldn’t be watching football.

His teams don’t just win. They win playing fantastic free flowing football.

There’s plenty of ways to win a game and Pep does it in the best way imaginable.

Will the BBC commission a documentary showing how the 'mighty reds' managed to fall off their perch after just 12 months

Can't disagree with any of that, his record is there for all to see, give him the money & he will bring home trophies

But horses for courses, could he do a better job at Burnley than Sean Dyche?

What Dyche has done at Burnley is one of the most underrated jobs in football.

He’s got one of the most difficult jobs going with the tools and finances at his disposal and he not only keeps Burnley in the league, he makes them so hard to beat. Definitely one of the best managers in the league for me.

Could Pep do it? I’d like to think someone who has won as much as he has done both as a player and as a manager would be able to. But I think it’s a question we’ll never ever get the answer to.
