Travis McReady (no, me neither) has played a socially distanced gig in Arkansas.

You maybe right but it's a start. I'm just thinking that when lockdown restrictions get eased it'll still eb a really long time before large gatherings are allowed. That place looks about the same size as the Arc or The Georgian. I'm sure DCI_Gene_Hunt will be along shortly to explain to us all why that just isn't financially viable. Him and other local promoters probably struggle with how things were before lockdown. This would not work. It may be ok as a one off gimmick but thats all. Plus it's soul destroying seeing people you love playing in empty halls. Went to see the fabulous My Life Story at The Arc in February to an audience of 30 people. I love the band and they played as though it was a packed house(3 encores I think) but it must of broke their hearts and certainly did mine. Short of press ganging people I don't know what promoters can do to get crowds in to the fabulous shows we get in Teesside area.
