Litter Pick Around Riverside

This is something that some posters asked about ahead of last week's fans forum.
This morning there was a big voluntary litter pick around the Riverside. I didnt know until afterwards or I would have advertised it. But I think there would have been plenty of being involved, supported by council workers. I was litter picking near the railway station this morning with Middlesbrough Community Champions volunteers. Our clean up also included streets on the approach from the town centre. It was all pretty spotless around the station when we were finished.
Anyone that fancies helping out there are community teams all over Teesside that litter pick for an hour or so every weekend. Most have equiment and bags. Just look on facebook for your local group.
Or search for Middlesbrough Community Champions who litter pick every Sunday morning.

This reminds me. The other day I was driving and was sat stationary at a junction. The Car in front suddenly wound down the front passenger window and threw out a large bag of litter into the gutter.
In these circumstances what would you say was the best advice to do ?
1) Report the Licence Plate to the Police?

Im daft enough to get out of my car pick it up and throw it back through the window, but yes report it to the police it’s probably safer. 😬

So much of the litter that is picked up every week by community groups comes along road verges, drinks, fast food and sweet and crisp packets lobbed out of vehicle windows.
