Wow. How much crack did the planners smoke to think that’s a good idea?
-Bus stop islands
-Cycling lanes which are narrower than my bikes handle bars
-Those little bumps to separate the cyclists from the cars
-Cycling lane between pavement and parked cars
-Drivers of parked cars getting out in narrower carriageway
-more white lines than in the south stand toilet cubicles on matchday

I mean wow. It really is mental. Somebody will be killed or seriously injury within weeks

Depends which side your front wheel clips them. You either end up in a bus lane or the squatters car beer garden

Walked up towards the Dorman museum yesterday evening and low and behold a little shoite on the pavement heading towards us. What a complete waste of money and a total white elephant. Taxi driver stops next to the bike lane and blocks the whole road up. And who put a nice little crossing white line outside the Carr on the cycle lane, as if that's going to work.

Middlesbrough council are clueless when it comes to cycling and walking infrastructure. The original plans for this were fine but it's been compromised to the point of being useless now.

It looks terrible and is yet another reason not to go down that road. A complete and utter but unfortunately not unprecedented waste of our taxes

Have a look at the make up of the council, full of 'independent' representatives. They've basically conned their way in by not standing for the party they support.
