Lighthearted Sunday dinner question...

Basically for a normal Sunday dinner you do roasties. Then you have some of the leftovers with mash. Then you have the leftover mash as bubble and squeak.

Every now and again I like a ruddy good toad in the hole with mash, mushy peas and onion gravy. Salivating nosh!

It’s the gravy that makes it, if the gravy is good then I prefer a mash.

There is no place for mashed potatoes in a proper Sunday roast.

Why would you need to double up the potatoes?

What about Cottage or Shepherds Pie? Surely that requires mash?
