Lewis Wing

I was a fan of his a year or so ago. But he has been really poor for a long time now, and today well wow. He was so slow, his touch was abysmal. I wouldn’t even have him in the squad on Sunday as a punishment for how ***** he was.

Unfortuantely he is now looking like a player who has come up from non-league level. Struggles to do the basics. We all criticised Pulis at the time for not giving him more chances but I can see now why he was reluctant to play him.

Terrible performance by him this evening. Looked totally devoid of confidence and so immobile it’s untrue.

Very strange decision to bring him on at that point, Tavernier would have been a better option.

I don’t think many fans will be disappointed if he moves on in the summer. Yes he can score the odd screamer but is that really with putting up with when he costs us in so many more ways. His passing and first touch today was abysmal. So, so bad. Then you have the fact the he can’t run or tackle. All he can do is shoot.

walks like a farmer and plays like one....hate to say it but he really is awful... having said that I could add a few more names too.a very poor squad

I think he lacks a bit athletically / physically due to not having been at an academy.

I’d like to see him put on an individual program with the aim of improving his strength, speed and fitness / overall physicality.

Northern League player with a good shot.

It’s looking like that . Not sure what else he offers. You never think of Lewis Wing having a good ‘game’ you just think if him scoring a good goal. And when he doesn’t do that he can be so bad it’s scary. I’d be moving him on in the summer if we can, I really would. He doesn’t look good enough at all.

I know we did get offers at the end of last season. Hard to fathom why we would turn down a couple of million for a northern league player. He is out of his depth at this level. Same with Johnson.
