Stash it, or spend it overseas in the location of their second homes etc. So called "Trickle down" economics just doesn't work. UK found that out in 1972 and Reagan found that out in the late 70s
 
I get constant criticism for voting for brexit, but this was exactly my reasoning. Not the restriction of people's movements, eroding peoples human rights or racism, but political anarchy to further change.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not well off and I've been squirming at the price rises and doubting my reasoning, but these greedy bast Ards can't help themselves. They may ruin the Conservative party forever and this difficult period should lead to major political reform and hopefully a change to the ethos that money is more important than everything else.

Sadly that will never happen. Money has been around for thousands of years and is the one thing that transcends borders, language, culture and everything else.

I don't follow? The current strategy of Truss et al is a logical conclusion of Brexit: cripple trade with the largest economic block on the planet; remove a million or so workers with no plan to replace them. Economy inevitably tanks and the ideologs have to dig the hole ever deeper.

Truss is just a temp... handed the tiller only to beach the ship so Captain Bozo can swoop back in an lead them into the next GE with a load more levelling up b.s.
 
So if the analysts are right, next year we could have

6% interest rates
10% inflation
Dollar worth more than the Pound
Euro at parity with the pound

Now even I didn’t think this government would be capable of this level of financial incompetence

The EU if anything were putting a break on the ability of these greedy conservative bstards. Voting brexit to allow the ruination of the Tory party has far too much collateral damage. It'll kill our economy, our youths opportunities and the NHS, as well as our environmental standards and workers rights for years to come.
