Lethal Striker - How is this even possible?

Just read the article below about previous Boro loanee and serial underachiever Lukas Nmecha, who is ripping it up in Belgium with 9 goals in 14 games, and has Kompany gushing over him. Is it April 1st as the striker I watched couldn't hit a barn door?!

I know some may say "yes but it's Belgium", but even so I didn't think he had it in him.

I thought he looked good when he was with us tbh

There was defo a player in there, premiership level technique.

Couldn't hit a barn door? Can't even remember him having many chances, he had no impact on games at all so I can only say "lads, it's Belgium". :)

You're right, in fairness he did play wide more often than not rather than through the middle, but for me he never looked like he had that clinical ability in him to be a consistent goalscorer. He looked 'an athlete' but not a top level footballer to me.

Game of opinions though.

Gestede's just finished his quarantine in Australia, only a matter of time till he get double figures.
Seven goals in four seasons for working out at £832k a goal

He’s not Ibrahimovic, but new Victory striker wants to shake the ‘tag’ he’s been given

I thought Nmecha was clever and looked promising when he first played at Boro, but things he tried didn't seem to come off and perhaps our circumstances got the better of him.
I'm glad that things are looking up for him.

"Because of his height Gestede is often seen as an immobile forward whose main strength is heading. It is not a theory he agrees with." - 6'4 and jumps like he's 4'9
But could still out jump Britt, we were talking about studs, Brit’s must be made of lead!!

The only thing Britt puts "where it hurts" is his finger in his Mum's trifle
I've heard he takes a stick of butter into the shower with him, all the lads thought it was roll on deodorant. When Warnock caught him at it Morsy and Johnson had to pin him down for him to fish it out of his mouth.
