We scored early for once and we were pressing for the second. Munis and Chuba had great chances.

I thought stefen looked solid as nothing he could do with either goal.
 
One less match to go until January. In all seriousness, I thought we played with better shape yesterday for the most part than we have a lot of this season and looked solid, apart from against set pieces. We need an organiser and leader on the pitch. Howson is good player and model pro, he isn't captain material by any stretch. We just look lost sometimes.

With all the negativity on this site Willow (not from yourself I might add), if you had started your comment with one less match to go before relegation, you would probably have got a dozen thumbs up!
 
There's been far too much negativity and over reaction on here since yesterday's match. It's his first game in charge FFS.

I thought we played quite well for the most part. Passed the ball around well at a good tempo. Akpom had a great game.

Yes we let ourselves down AGAIN with some poor defending of set pieces, need to get Woody drilling them in training on defending these.

Overall though I could see some promise. I believe it will get better and we will be ok.
 
Shape definitely as we made chances.

Ok we lost to freak last min goal

But let’s let’s not undermine the pluses either. He tried something new and it almost worked

That’s true

Btw I’m not saying it wasn’t coming but to concede like that is a sickener but it could just have easily gone over ( we never seem able to do it) stefen had no chance it looped over him.
 
Thought our midfield played well for once.

Akpom had his best game in a Boro shirt.

The inability to defend set pieces is something that can surely be worked on.
