I think McNair played as well as he has today, adequate replacement and not a worry unless we cash in on him.

Not a fan of McNair at all, but one thing he does offer that the other CBs don't is a willingness to run forwards with the ball. He did that pretty well today.

We are a significantly better side with Lenihan in - McNair is not an ‘adequate replacement’. In the absence of anybody else he is the best we have but Lenihan makes us far stronger. Great to hear he is talking so positively about his fitness. UTB

A clean sheet today, we haven't had many of those with Lenihan playing

McNair was fantastic today. Did everything really well. And his running Dom defence was fantastic.

And in defence we handled Millwall superbly. After last week I'm happy to say fair play to him.

I disagree. He was caught out a few times in second half and his defensive headers were poor.

That's his big plus, bringing the ball out and he does it really well. Second half he looked shaky with a little bit of pressure on.

He's a good player when given time and space.
Not so good when he's being closed down.
He's got that falling down when challenged thing down to a fine art though.
