What if everyone with 180 points wanted to go with someone who say has only 100 - should they all be allowed to buy an extra ticket just so they can go with a mate?
No, what would be the point of a priority system?

Because he did not have enough points. It's simple maths or if you are American math.Well I'm not getting a ticket then was praying for some to be left by 3pm . The system is an utter joke we have implementend. When friends on 155 points I'm on 169 was waiting for 3pm to get ticket with him but they've sold out. Why couldn't I not of gotten two tickets for him .
yeah, that was the point i was making!!No, what would be the point of a priority system?
Time for an audit of Gold Cards - most will have been passed on and not being used by the original holders, and they need to be removed from themThere can't be that many Gold card holders left in actuality
I would suggest any gold card holder not residing in the West stand be investigated.Time for an audit of Gold Cards - most will have been passed on and not being used by the original holders, and they need to be removed from them
We're not all dead yet y'know!Time for an audit of Gold Cards - most will have been passed on and not being used by the original holders, and they need to be removed from them
Why? (even though I presume that your comment is tongue in cheek), but do you actually know of any instances where this has happened?Time for an audit of Gold Cards - most will have been passed on and not being used by the original holders, and they need to be removed from them
This guy on Twitter has done a good little thread on the away ticket sales.

This is the issue I have with the system only able to go to the far away games as gold season ticket holders gobble up all the Sunderland and Leeds Game allocations. Add into the fact for these I demand games the club reserve tickets for special guests. The system also heavily incentives you to buy tickets for every game and sell them on if you can't attend to maintain your status and keep above the folks below. The folk on lower points can never catch upThe main issue is the fact that all levels are a closed shop and it is significantly dependent on age. I got my first ST when the corners were filled in, I was on a waiting list before that. I joined the waiting list when I finished uni, so couldn’t have got one before. I can never get gold card status and as such the higher points they reward you with. My son has had a ST for 6/7 years now he is 11 - he can only dream of getting the points I get, never mind a gold card. I have to wait for tickets to go down to his level 160+ before I can buy.
It’s ok saying Bristol city has gone to general sale so it’s not a closed shop, but there are reasons that some games are more popular than others. I effectively start 20 points less than gold cards as I have to wait for my son to get tickets. That’s 10 away games just to catch up. If all the games we want to go to sell out before getting to our level it just gets further away.
I also agree that the people who travel to most away games should get priority, I’ve no issue with that.
For the record we did Bristol a couple of years ago - great trip.
