Makes painful viewing looking upon their respective forums with possible ramifications. Blimey they're suffering big time

Really dislike both teams but surely this season most be concluded then ever with next season being the one to change somehow.

Surprised football doesn't have something like the Duckworth Lewis method in cricket so the results can be pro-rated.

I see Karen Brady is pushing the idea that voiding the league will be the best course of action.

I'd be all for that ONLY IF the PL agreed to not award any prize money to the PL clubs for this season and instead put it all into a compensation fund to allow the EFL to keep clubs in existence.
That is a cracking idea, but it won't happen, greed will prevail

It depends on how long Coronavirus is going to rumble on for doesn’t it. If restrictions are still in place into June and July then this season is going to just meld into next. How will that work ?

I suspect that this is quite likely to happen. It will certainly not be over by the end of March.

All sorts of ramifications such as FFP , sponsorship loss , TV sponsorship and Lack of prime player training .
It's all unprecedented and likely to cause court battles for years by those who missed out and lost out .
The likes of us can just sit back quietly purring

What happens with all the players who’s contracts expire on 1st June. Also that happens to all the summers sports if the season continues into June/July.

There’s the issue with players contracts too and the budgeting thereafter, the whole thing is a bit of a mess it’s not too bad for us but someone like Manchester City could potentially have 16 fixtures to fulfil in Premier League, Europe and FA Cup.

Indeed that’s a good point about contacts, we have a number of players out of contract in June, as will many other clubs
