The Wedding Present at Base Camp in Boro, Dec 19.

Love the Wedding Present but had gone to The Avalanche Party show at the Westgarth. I didnt know TWP were on until the night but the pull was too much for me so got a taxi down. They were on when I got there but the sound was diabolical even though I tried a couple of spots. After about half a dozen numbers got a taxi back to Westgarth. So disappointed because as I said I love TWP. Will go see them again but it would have to be someone good to entice me back to Base Camp. Others have posted that the sound was ok were they were. No beer of any kind either if I remember only lager and dark fruit cider type of things.

Seems so long ago. Last gig would’ve been either Massive in Cheltenham or Quireboys in Bristol. Need to get my regular fix of The Wildhearts and Terrorvision very soon

Went to Amsterdam last February to see Lana Del Rey but when I switched my phone on in Schiphol discovered the gig had been cancelled as had the others I had tkts for in Paris, Glasgow, Manchester and Berlin.

So my actual last gig was the Liminanas supported by Working Men's Club, 2 great bands

That Spear gig was nearly 2 years ago now!

Big Thief in Cologne 7 March last year. In hindsight, surprising it went ahead.

I'd been at Leverkusen v Frankfurt on the afternoon which was one of only a handful on Budesliga games with fans that weekend. I think all Sunday fixtures (the following day) were behind closed doors.

Flew back into Manchester on Monday and back out to Malmo on Tuesday.
