Did Fjortoft get sent off in that game or am I thinking of sheff Utd. Remember being in the holgate and he got sent off for a bad tackle I think. I was 11 so memory is hazy

Uwe got sent off for a bad tackle v Sheff Utd. On Kevin Gage....nasty ****** deserved it.

Can‘t recall Fjortoft getting a red, not convinced my memory is up to scratch though.

Yes Subbuteo is spot on, Uwe was the last player to score a hat trick & sent off at AP

I thought it was quite a good first half, but second half the game was played at walking pace as the players knew it needed to be stopped.
 
I remember us playing Grimsby possibly the season before (10 then) and it was waterlogged. Did that game go all the way or was it played in full. I remember some vividly others not
 
I remember him scoring away to stoke in 98 1-0 win I think when we had him back on loan
