Laptop recommendation

Could anyone recommend a laptop (not Apple), what I'm looking for is as follows:

Light and portable 1.4kg max weight
512GB storage at least
Screen size 13-14"
Will be using at home with dual monitors so lots of ports required
Maximum price £1800

I can see plenty of options like the Samsung Galaxy Book, Dell XPS, ASUS Zenbook but really can't seem to find anything that ticks all of the boxes.

Asus Zenbook with port extensions? Not ideal but most seem to being doing away with ports. What type of work are you doing to required an 1800 quid laptop? I bought one for gaming and don't ever use it for gaming, was a bit of a waste on reflection!

I don't ever do gaming so it's purely for business purposes.

What do your business purposes involve? Unless it requires running lots of memory intensive programs are you not better off spending your money elsewhere? I'd imagine £1800 would get you the newest i9 processor as well as 8-16 GB of RAM.

I'm more than happy to purchase something cheaper! I just assumed that buying something more expensive will mean that it lasts longer and will pay for itself overall.

Lenovo IdeaPad 320-15AST
15.6 Inch Laptop AMD A9 9120 (y)
4GB

I bought this brand new on ebay on 19th Jan for 289 quid.1612801332529.png

I'd recommend a Lenovo Thinkpad like this one

https://www.lenovo.com/gb/en/laptops/thinkpad/edge-series/E14-G2/p/20TA000DUK

And buy a USB-C Docking Station for your home set up.

https://www.lenovo.com/gb/en/access...le-docks-usb/Thinkpad-USB-C-Dock/p/40A90090UK

There is also a 10% discount for first time buyers. Thinkpads are tough old things but won't win any prizes for design, they look pretty much the same as when they were made by IBM. The docking station gives you all the ports you need including support for dual external monitors and it simply plugs into the charge port on the laptop. Should come in at just under £1k.

Bought a Lenovo that had adware built in and ended up getting malware I couldn't get rid of.
Dog turd. Never again.
On my second Surface Pro. Bomb proof, instant boot up and rapid with zero built in adware. Love it.

I run a Dell XPS 15 with an additional 2 screens at home

32G RAM
1Tb Internal Storage

Factor in your other business requirements like Office, the additional docking station to connect to the screens and they aren`t a standard HDMI connection either

Can`t fault it for work and I`m using lots of different programmes at the same time with no problems
