I according to talk sport

think this week shows what positive it was for the club to act when they did because these eligible managers are getting snapped up and opportunities are reduced.

My father in law is a big Norwich fan and he’s pretty gutted about the thought of Lampard coming in. He’d have much rather gone for Dean Smith. I’d be the same if I was a Norwich fan.
Having said that, I just spoke to him and he’s quite happy that now he’s accepted it. Thinks Lampard is a ‘nice’ guy and Norwich like nice guys…. I just told him that looking in from the outside, the thing Norwich always seem to be lacking and always have done as far as I can remember, is a nasty side. They are re desperate for that at the minute.

I watched Villa fans being interviewed and they didn't seem overly excited by his appointment. Many of them were sad to see Smith leave the club he was a supporter of.

It’s an odd on to go from one struggling prem side to the worst side in the league a week later. Bold statement
Yeah.....but if you had any hope of staying up (unlikely I know), who would you go for? Personally I'd go for experience every time. Even with relegation, Smith would be a safer Championship bet. In my opinion.
